No, poetry is not taking over No Extra Words for April. But in honor of National Poetry Month we are debuting a new segment on upcoming episodes and are so excited about the talented poets who are going to be a part of it.
Kelli Russell Agodon is an award-winning poet, writer, and editor. She’s the author of six books, most recently, Hourglass Museum (Finalist for the Washington State Book Award in Poetry & the Julie Suk Poetry Prize) & The Daily Poet: Day-By-Day Prompts For Your Writing Practice, which she coauthored with Martha Silano. She is the cofounder of Two Sylvias Press where she works are an editor and book cover designer. Her work has appeared in magazines such as The Atlantic, New England Review The Harvard Review, and O, The Oprah Magazine.
