Episode 13…how did we get here? It has been such a delight getting to know Michelle and I so look forward to bringing you her story.

Michelle Lee is an associate professor who makes time to grade flash fiction stories in between games of “Old Shark” with her daughter and binge-watching Orphan Black with her husband. You’re bound to find her traveling to Ireland these days or wandering a beach named Wilbur. Published across genres, she wears the Pushcart Prize nominee badge as well as finalist stripes for some recent fiction contests, including december magazine and Arcadia. You can find some of her work online at http://animalliterarymagazine.com/2015/07/01/poem-31/, http://www.thevignettereview.org/?article=railcars-by-michelle-lee, and http://citronreview.com/2014/06/01/in-the-belly/.

And yes, in case you are curious, I did ask her and the beach is named Wilbur. It is actually named Wilbur Beach. In the immortal words of Liz Lemon: “I want to go to there.”

Happy listening,

Kris
