Sally reads her story for us in her own wonderful voice.

Sally Stevens is a singer/lyricist and choral director working in film, TV, and sound recordings in Los Angeles. She’s run away to the U of Iowa writing workshops every summer for the last 16 years, pretending to be an actual writer.  Along the way, she’s written lyrics for Burt Bacharach, (“There Is Time”, recorded by Burt and the Houston Symphony) Dave Grusin, (“Who Comes This Night?” recorded by James Taylor in his first Christmas CD) among others. Her poems have appeared in Mockingheart Review and Hermeneutic Chaos Literary Journal.

Happy listening,

Kris
