Sarah Bigham is a professor in Maryland where she lives with her kind chemist wife, their three independent cats, and an unwieldy herb garden. She began writing and painting last year as a distraction from chronic illnesses and pain that developed suddenly. Sarah’s work has appeared in Fourth & Sycamore, Frederick Magazine, Ink in Thirds, Pulse: Voices from the Heart of Medicine, Silver Birch Press, Snapdragon: Journal of Arts and Healing, skirt!, Unbroken, Whirlwind Magazine, and The Write Place at the Write Time.
